Match locations and information

Ever since the first European football cup was played in France back in 1958, it has been one of the world's most anticipated and talked about sporting events.

For those of you that didn't know yet, the EURO 2008 will take place in different areas of both Austria and Switzerland. Here are the cities that will host matches:

Austria

• Vienna


• Salzburg


• Klagenfurt


• Innsbruck

Switzerland

• Bern


• Basel


• Geneva


• Zurich

The qualifying rounds are still being played and when they are all finished and the first round of matches are drawn and we all can make travel and hotel arrangements.

I for one will try and attend as many matches as possible. Football is the sport practiced by the largest amount of people around the world and, to me, football is a part of life. I just pray the prices for the hotels don't shoot through the roof.
